SILVER CITY, N.M. (KRQE) - A 130 pound black bear was spotted eating apples in a Silver City backyard.
On Tuesday, New Mexico Game and Fish received a call about the bear and an officer went to check it out.
The bear was spotted between two backyards trying to grab some apples to eat.
The bear did have an ear tag.
It had been captured and released a year ago.
The animal was tranquilized without incident and moved to the Gila National Forest.
