Student faces criminal charges for threat

BELEN, N.M. (KRQE) - The Belen High School Student accused of writing a threat in a boy’s bathroom is now facing criminal charges.
The 16-year-old has been charged with interfering with the educational process.
The threat was discovered quickly and the student identified soon after that.
Police say the boy did not have access to guns and they are confident the threat was a hoax.
