ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The federal government reports that New Mexico's high school graduation rate for the 2009-2010 was just over 67 percent.

That's below the national average of about 78 percent.

The rates indicate the percentage of ninth graders who go on to graduate within four years.

According to the report, Nevada had one of the lowest rates while Vermont had one of the highest.
