ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - An odor first believed to be from a gas leak prompted an evacuation of Albuquerque's Manzano High School Monday morning.
Students were all directed to the gym shortly after 9 a.m. as Albuquerque firefighters using high-tech sensors searched campus buildings for a leak. They found none, and New Mexico Gas Company crews followed up.
All students except those with classes in E Hall returned to class shortly about 10 a.m. as utility completed their check before giving the all-clear.
It is not known what caused the odor.
