ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Two Albuquerque elementary schools received complete literacy makeovers.

The libraries at Dolores Gonzales and Griegos elementary schools were upgraded recently thanks to a $35,000 donation from PNM and another $15,000 from APS Education Foundation partners.

The renovations were revealed Friday.

Dolores Gonzales received a new reading nook, a smartboard, and an improved Spanish/English collection.

Griegos got 30 new iPads, a beanbag chair and new flooring.
