Clinic mural gets anniversary makeover

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - After 21-years a huge mural thousands of drivers pass everyday is getting new life.
The old artwork on the wall of First Choice Healthcare on Avenida Cesar Chavez at Broadway Boulevard is being replaced to coincide with the clinic's 40th anniversary.
For the last six weeks the original artist and several students have been painting the new mural.
Those kids are part of Working Classroom, a program where kids go to school and learn a trade through hands-on experience.
The mural will be dedicated on Aug. 7.
