ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Albuquerque police say a woman and her 2-year-old child were hit by a truck while walking in a construction zone.
The collision happened just after 11 a.m. at Coors Boulevard and Central Avenue.
The child was taken to a hospital where at last report his injuries were described as not life-threatening. Police said the woman is expected to be OK.
Until the investigation is complete, police said drivers can expect delays traffic in addition to those related to the current project to rebuild the intersection.
