ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) - A woman, who was protesting a recent animal cruelty case in Roswell, was attacked by a group of women.
The protestor was outside of the Albertson’s grocery store speaking out about the malnourished boxer that a judge released back to its owner when the women came up to her and told her to mind her own business and then shoved her.
A store employee came out and helped the protestor.
The dog's owner, Andrea Montanez, pleaded to no contest to animal cruelty charges and has the dog back.
