ALCALDE, N.M. (KRQE) - New information has been released about a shooting death in Alcalde last weekend.

A woman says she shot the man because he busted into her home.

The Santa Fe New Mexican reports that according to search warrants a woman said 33-year-old Lawrence Sandoval followed her home from a gas station, barged into her home, held her at knife point and tried to undress her.

She then grabbed a loaded gun that was under a pillow and shot Sandoval and took off.

No charges have been filed and no word if the woman knew Sandoval.
