ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Admitted Ponzi-schemer Doug Vaughan is now gone from New Mexico headed to a new home behind bars.
Vaughan was sent last week from the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility to a federal transfer center in Oklahoma.
From there he will be moved to the prison where he'll serve his 12-year sentence.
Where that will be has not been disclosed.
Vaughan, once one of Albuquerque's highest-profile Realtors, bilked hundreds of investors out of $75 million by taking money he claimed would be invested in real estate.
