DURANGO, Colo. (KRQE) - A Durango-based task force has arrested two people after a four-month investigation into OxyContin sales in the area.

William Oneal, 39, and Maris Moore, 26, were arrest this week by the Southwest Drug Task Force.

Both were booked into the La Plata County jail with bonds of $25,000 on the drug charges.

Oneal, however, is under a no-bond parole hold.

Task force investigators purchased OxyContin pills from both Oneal and Moore, according to a statement from the task force. When agents arrested Oneal, they reported seizing 500 30-mg. pills with a street value of more than $17,000.

OxyContin is a narcotic painkiller available legally only by prescription.
