ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The man, who investigators say escaped from prison in Arizona and killed a couple in New Mexico while he was on the run, is now set to go to trial in March.

Investigators say John McCluskey carjacked Gary and Linda Haas near Tucumcari in 2010 then killed them near Santa Rosa.

The federal government wants him to face the death penalty if he's guilty.
