Trial begins in deputy, stripping case

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The trial of a former Valencia County deputy accused of making a woman to strip during a traffic stop started Monday in Socorro.

Patrick Duran is accused of telling a woman he would charge her with DWI unless she pulled down her pants.

Duran was fired from the department a little over a year ago.

He is charged with extortion and false imprisonment.
