ARTESIA (KRQE) - Artesia police have arrested a third man in connection to the town's first homicide of the year.
Donald Ybarra, 33, of Carlsbad was arrested over the weekend for the murder of Timothy Wallace.
Police say on January 2, Ybarra, Senovio Mendoza and Matthew Sloan went to Wallace’s home, posing as law enforcement officers and then shot Wallace in the head.
Police say the crime is drug related.
