Teen gets 15 years in beating death

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A teen in Los Lunas who beat a man to death with bamboo stick will spend 15 years in prison.
Steven Ayers was sentenced as an adult for killing a 51-year-old man back in 2009.
Ayers was 16-years-old at the time.
The victim was in a coma at first and then died three weeks later.
