ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A man who stepped outside an Albuquerque strip club to smoke was shot in the back early Saturday morning, police report.
Police described the victim as an innocent bystander but provided no additional details about a motive or intended targets in the shooting at Fantasy World on Jefferson Street NE near Interstate 25.
The victim was taken to UNM Hospital for treatment. Police said the wound did not appear to be life-threatening.
Additional information on the shooting is expected to be released later on Saturday.
