Smoke shop owner charged with rape

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A smoke shop owner is charged with rape after he allegedly forced a woman to first pose in front of a surveillance camera as he molested her.
Sabah Al-Washah, 45, is charged with kidnapping and rape after a woman told police he took a screwdriver to her throat Monday morning at Curly and Moe's Smoke Shop on Central Avenue SE.
The criminal complaint says the woman went to borrow money, and Al-Washah allegedly grabbed her in front of the surveillance camera but then raped her in the back of the shop.
Al-Washah is jailed on a no-bond hold.
