Semi driver charged in fatal pedestrian crash

ALBUQUREQUE (KRQE) - Police have charged a semi driver who claims he thought he hit a dog, with leaving the scene of a deadly accident.
     
Investigators say what Jesus Vigil actually struck on Coors near Eagle Ranch about 2 o'clock Sunday morning was 31-year-old Maria Rodriguez.
      
Another driver spotted the body about 6:30 a.m. when it was getting light.
