School bus thief pleads not guilty

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The man who was shot after police say he stole a school bus and lead a wild chase down I-40 was in court Monday.
Police say dash cam video showed Nathaniel Shipman was driving the school bus that was barreling down the freeway almost exactly a month ago.
A deputy shot and injured Shipman.
Shipman pleaded not guilty Monday, to stealing a vehicle and aggravated fleeing.
His bond was raised to $50,000 cash surety.
