ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Former ABC newsman and New Mexico resident Sam Donaldson was arrested for Driving Under the Influence earlier this month in Delaware.
According to a release from Lewes Police Department Donaldson was arrested on the evening of December 1st.
Donaldson, who officials say was under the influence of alcohol, failed a field sobriety test and was taken into custody at the scene.
Donaldson has a ranch in Hondo, in Southern New Mexico. He grew up on a cotton farm near Anthony in Doña Ana County and graduated from New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell.
