Police warn public of sex offender

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The La Plata County sheriff's office is letting the public know that a potentially dangerous sex offender has been released from prison.
According to the Durango Herald, the sheriff's office says 22-year-old William Vollert was released earlier this month.
He now lives in Durango.

Vollert is considered a sexually violent predator.
He was convicted of sexually assaulting a child back in 2008.
