Police search bosque for armed burglar

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Albuquerque police backed by SWAT and mounted officers, K-9s and the sheriff's department helicopter searched a section of the Rio Grande bosque for an armed burglar Tuesday.
Details of the burglary are not yet available, but the search covered an extensive area on the west side of the Rio Grande.
Police said they believed their suspect is armed.
The search centered on the wooded area north of Central Avenue near the intersection of 49th Street NW and Atrisco Drive.
The search ended without the suspect being found.
