ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - An overnight shooting in Albuquerque has left one man is in the hospital.

Around 10 o’clock Monday night, police say they got a call from a man saying he'd been shot near Alvarado and Highland Just off Zuni in southeast Albuquerque.

He was rushed to the hospital.

Officers do not know how many times he was shot, but say there were a lot of gunshots. Police are trying find out who is behind the shooting.

”We can't find any witnesses as to what occurred and if he was with anybody around here,” Officer Danny Padilla said. “Because of the fact that there were no witnesses and he was at the hospital and being worked on we have no information on that.”

Police continue to investigate.
