HURLEY, N.M. (KRQE) - Police in Hurley, New Mexico are investigating the death of a WNMU student.
Officers found Roberto Garcia Benevidez, 22, Friday night in the middle of the street and could not revive him.
His body was sent to the office of the medical investigator in Albuquerque.
Police say at this point, it appears he may have been hit by a car.
Witnesses reported hearing yelling and seeing a white vehicle driving away.
