Police find UNMH stabbing suspect

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A boyfriend-girlfriend dispute in the UNM Hospital parking garage ended with the woman on the run after stabbing the man in the arm, according to police.
The man was not seriously hurt, Albuquerque police reported.
The woman was last seen leaving the area of the 11 a.m. stabbing.
The University of New Mexico sent out the first Twitter alert on the incident warning staff and students about police activity and describing the suspect.
A second tweet at about 1 p.m. lifted the campus alert and said the woman had been taken into custody.
Police said the woman was arrested at a convenience store at Central Avenue and University Boulevard.
Update: Albuquerque police later reported the stabbing happened at University and Menaul and that the woman had dropped the victim off at the UNM Hospital emergency room and then walked away. She was identified as Jennifer Day.
