ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - After spending much of Thursday combing the mountains for an armed fugitive, police captured Joseph Rodriguez.
Officers tried to pull Rodriguez over Wednesday near Angle Fire, but sped off with two women riding with him in the car.
Police ended up finding the car and one of the women that day, but Rodriguez and another woman were gone.
State Police captured Rodriguez near his mother’s home near Angel Fire late Thursday. The other woman was still with him.
Police have not said whether that woman was a hostage, as they initially believed, or just along for the ride.
