ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Two men in disguise, one of them wearing a wig, attempted to rob an Albuquerque hotel Friday.
Security workers managed to catch up with one of them
Police took 33-year-old Anthony Garcia into custody at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at University and Menaul Friday.
Garcia was allegedly wearing a blonde wig when he was spotted trying to steal one of the hotel's flat screen TV's.
Police say he threatened to stab a hotel security guard who tried to stop him.
Saturday, Garcia appeared before a judge charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and larceny.
It is unclear if Garcia had anything to do with a second unidentified man spotted earlier in the day dressed in a security uniform.
Hotel staffers say that man threatened them, too.
