ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Officials say a runaway groom ditched state corrections officials to try and walk down the aisle.
Caleb Rogers, 28, was due to check in at the state probation office in Albuquerque Wednesday.
But according to corrections department officials when he was told he'd have to take a drug test he took off.
Police caught up with him the next day, at a local gas station with his girlfriend and three other people on the way to a park to go get married.
Police took him into custody and booked him into jail on a no-bond hold.
Rogers was on probation and parole for a slew of charges including kidnapping, aggravated battery, and extortion.
