Pedestrian killed in Santa Fe ID'ed

SANTA FE (KRQE) - Santa Fe police have released the name of a man hit and killed while walking in a street late Wednesday night in the city.

He is Paul Johnston, 65, who was hit by a pickup truck near St. Francis Drive and San Mateo.

Investigators believe he was not in a crosswalk.

Police are asking anyone who may have known Johnston to give them a call. He has a Santa Fe address but was originally from California.

The driver is not expected to face any charges.
