Pedestrian hit by two cars

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A pedestrian was struck by two different cars in Albuquerque Wednesday night.

Police say around 11:45 p.m. a car was driving on Lead near Maple when it struck a man with its side mirror. The driver of that car pulled over to check on the man, when another truck struck the man again and took off.

Officers caught the driver of the truck near Martin Luther King and I-25. Police say the driver was drunk and admitted to being involved in the crash. He was arrested and charged with aggravated DWI.

The pedestrian was also drunk according to APD, he is expected to be OK.
