LEA COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) - A Lea County oil worker has been murdered and another arrested.

Investigators say Sunday at about 4 p.m., three men were on their way home from a job site in the oil fields and stopped along the Tatum highway.

One of them, 32-year-old Woodrow Dunn Junior was acting strange according to the other two.

He then shot, 52 year-old David Rogers.

The gunman's dad was the third man; he's the one who took the gun away and called police.

Investigators have not released a motive.
