ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The young man accused of killing a nun on the Navajo reservation is facing more charges Thursday.
According to the Albuquerque Journal Reehahlio Carroll was charged with arson after investigators say he tried to set the sheets in his cell on fire.
The fire was promptly put out but Carroll did suffer some smoke inhalation.
Carroll was charged with the murder of Sister Marguerite Bartz home in 2009. Carroll allegedly killed Bartz after she confronted him breaking into her home.
While there is no date set for Carroll’s trial, he is facing life in prison if convicted.
