LAS CRUCES (KRQE) - Las Cruces police arrested the Aggie basketball player Wednesday accused of badly beating another student.
Witnesses say Tyrone Watson was upset with Miguel Rascon, because Rascon was dancing with his girlfriend at a party last month.
Watson allegedly grabbed Rascon's neck, forced him toward the door and punched him, breaking bones in his face and causing cuts and bruises.
Watson, who is charged with aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, has bonded out of jail.
