ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A neighborly feud takes a dangerous turn after police find a man lying in a pool of blood, unconscious.

According to Isleta police, a woman was tired of her neighbor harassing her and that's when things got violent.

Yesterday, Louisa Lucero said her neighbor, Joseph Lucero, stuck a hose in her car and flooded it with water.

She says Lucero was angry because she wouldn't drive him to get alcohol.

The woman then claims Lucero tried to break into her house, so she beat him with a bat while her boyfriend, John Cruz, ran to call for help.

Police arrested Louisa and Cruz.

Cruz is charged with being an accessory to a crime and tampering with evidence.

Police say Lucero is at UNM hospital with life-threatening injuries.
