ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Two men linked to a series of violent home invasions and an armed robbery have been indicted by a Bernalillo County Grand Jury.

Joel Meeks and Raul Ortega each face 75 charges stemming from three separate incidents in mid-January.

In one of the most violent crimes – Meeks is accused of leaving a home invasion victim to drown in a bathtub while hog-tied.  That victim did survive.

Meeks was caughtly shortly after that home invasion.

Ortega remains on the run and an arrest warrant has been issued for him.

Anyone with information on Ortega is asked to call (505) 242-COPS.
