ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A man is in the hospital after being shot in the chest sometime Tuesday morning.

Albuquerque police say the man, who appeared to be in his late 30s, walked into a Cricket Store on Central AVE SE.  The man was bleeding and requested an ambulance.  The store called emergency crews and the man was transported to UNM Hospital.

At this time the man is said to be in stable condition.

Officials say they are investigating the possibility that the shooting took place at a nearby Walgreens.  They have yet to locate a suspect or weapon.
