ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) - The man Roswell police believe was involved in a possible DWI crash that killed a Roswell mother and her young son may be headed to Mexico.

Officials say someone driving a Cadillac Escalade hit 30-year-old Mandy Miranda’s car from behind early Sunday morning.

The Escalade flipped and police think Joel Cordoba-Lopez, 21, jumped out and took off on foot.

Police thought he may still be in the area but now say he could be in Mexico where his father lives.
