ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Police say a man, who used a 14-year-old as a lookout, took the bait and got busted for it.
Trevor Smith, 21, faced a judge Sunday on auto burglary charges.
Police say Smith was busted with a stolen laptop from an APD bait car Saturday.
Detectives tracked the property to the car he was in.
Two other guys were with Smith, one was only 14-years-old.
Police also found three knives and a flashlight on Smith, which detectives say are tools used for burglaries.
Smith is out on bond.
