Man arrested in Roswell murder case

ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) - There has been an arrest in last week’s murder in Roswell.
Thomas Martinez is charged in the death of Arthur Contreras.
Contreras was found shot to death on his doorstep on Thursday.
Neighbors reported hearing up to 25 shots. They say kids were around and had to duck for cover.
Martinez was arrested quickly after the crime for drug possession.
He is now also charged with second degree murder.
A motive for the killing has not been released.
