ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A man has been arrested on armed robbery charges, accused of holding up two Albuquerque restaurants within less than an hour of each other.

Ishamel Rubio, 30, is suspected in the robbery of Burritos Alinstante on Broadway. The employees there said he held a gun to them and demanded money or they would "die.”

When police were investigating that robbery they got another call at the nearby El Michocano restaurant.

Employees there said the suspect threatened them with a large knife.

Rubio was caught near that scene.

Employees at both restaurants identified Rubio as the robber.
