ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting Tuesday night in a northwest Albuquerque neighborhood.

Police say it left two people in the hospital with gunshot wounds.

Ryan bunker, 21, is in jail for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and child abuse.

Police say Bunker went to a home near 4th Street and Montano northwest several times Tuesday looking for someone.

They say he had two other men with him and threatened a 15-year-old at the home with his handgun, saying he was going to "blast him away."

The teen told police Bunker and the two other guys beat up his friend and then the fight ended in gunshots.

Police were called to the area after 6:30 p.m.

One person showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound to his chest and hand.

Another showed up with a gunshot wound to his heel and a wound where a bullet grazed his torso.

Most neighbors we spoke with say they weren't sure what was going on last night, but they heard a lot of commotion.

"I heard gunshots. It was like three shots. It was one loud and a couple small ones…sounded like fireworks,” Julie Trent said. “Then I came and looked and saw what looked like teenagers. One was running and the other was running after him."

Police say they're getting a lot of inconsistent statements from witnesses.

A woman at the home where the shooting happened says several people were inside at the time, but she said she didn't know anything.

Police have not said if they are still looking for more suspects in connection with the shooting.
