ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - An Albuquerque man has been arrested for stealing a car but it was not just an ordinary vehicle.

Police say 35-year-old Michael Bahe took an Albuquerque ambulance the Dion's parking lot on Central and Coors.

Police were able to track down the ambulance parked at a home in the northwest part of town.

According to the criminal complaint, Bahe's family members told officers he wanted to drive to the Laguna Pueblo in the ambulance.

When police questioned Bahe he changed his story several times before finally told the truth.

Bahe is charged with unlawful taking of a motor vehicle.
