ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A man has been arrested for allegedly beating his neighbor so bad with a baseball bat he may lose sight in one eye.

According to the criminal complaint, 30-year-old Alberto Juarez was mad at his neighbor for confrontations they had in the past.

So over the weekend Juarez said he got a baseball bat and hit the victim in the face, causing him to fall. He then told police he hit him again in the back while he was on the ground.

Juarez told police he went to work at a local car wash where he threw the bat in a dumpster.

Police found the bat and arrested Juarez on attempted murder and tampering with evidence charges.
