ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A judge has denied a man's motion to dismiss an indictment for an alleged murder back in 2007 and he is no stranger to the law.
The case involves 32-year-old Chris Blattner.
He is accused of killing his drug dealer than dumping his body.
Blattner's attorney argued that they wanted additional evidence presented in the case, but a judge denied that motion.
He has also made headlines when he was accidently released from prison in February, three years too soon on drug and shoplifting charges due to a paperwork mishap by the courts.
He was later brought back into custody after a nine hour stand off with a-p-d.
Blattner may also be connected to the disappearance of 62-year-ol d Kathy Paquin who was last seen at her Albuquerque home August 15th.
He has not been charged in that case.
