ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Jacob Beach, 19, is accused of shooting and killing 18-year-old Sharolyn Keown.  He is currently being held at the San Juan County Adult Detention Center on a $500,000 cash-only bond.

On Wednesday Beach asked a judge to reduce his bond so that he could look for work and attend church.  The Farmington judge denied his request.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 13th.
