ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A suspected drunk driver took deputies on a high speed chase through the south valley.
Deputies say they tried to pull over 47-year-old Harold Baca on Tapia near Arenal just before eight Wednesday night because he was swerving all over the road.
Baca did not stop and instead took off and was able to drive around spike strips deputies set up.
Deputies eventually got him to stop, but his SUV ended up on top of a patrol unit.
