ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The woman who kept the books for admitted Ponzi schemer Doug Vaughan has been sentenced, but her fate remains a mystery.

Last year Martha Runkle pleaded guilty to one count of aiding and abetting wire fraud.

She admitted that she knew about the Ponzi scheme, helped cover it up at Vaughan's instruction and brought in one investor knowing Vaughan's business was millions in the hole.

Prosecutors have now come up with a sentencing agreement for Runkle, but the terms have been sealed.

As part of her plea Runkle did agree to pay $100,000 in restitution.
