ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The FBI and the Navajo Police Department are investigating an officer-involved shooting.
It happened at around three Saturday morning in the Wide Ruins area in Arizona on the Navajo reservation.
Police say two officers responded to a domestic violence call when they were confronted by a man with a gun.
No specific details have been released, but we do know shots were fired by the suspect and both officers.
One officer and the suspect were hit.
Both were taken to the hospital.
Police say the officer was wearing a bullet proof vest and was released from the hospital Saturday.
The suspect remains hospitalized.
No names have been released.
