ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The charges have been dropped against a state employee who police say was driving drunk.
Police say Ronald Noedel was nearly four times the legal limit last June when he hit a parked car then drove home.
Because there was a missing witness statement and cops never actually saw him drive, the city says it had to dismiss the case.
Noedel is a supervisor for the Department of Transportation in Santa Fe.
The state says he will keep his job.
