ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A well-known Santa Fe physician arrested for soliciting a prostitute in Albuquerque is now facing a cocaine-trafficking charge.
Richard Lieberman, 63, was indicted last month with the second-degree felony drug-trafficking count as well as the misdemeanor of patronizing a prostitute.
His attorney says that Lieberman will enter a not guilty plea and that he has two months left in an out-of-state residential treatment facility.
Lieberman is the founder of urgent care Santa Fe, where he served as medical director. He's also the former head of the ER at Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center.
